Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Noutez (the "Service"). By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Noutez.

1. Who can use Noutez

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Noutez account. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. Your username is permanent once chosen — see Settings for what can be changed later. Let us know right away at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Content you post

You keep ownership of the notes, comments, and collections you publish. By posting public content on Noutez, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the Service (for example, showing it in feeds, search results, and to people who follow you). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention period described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to post content that:

  • Is illegal, or infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights;
  • Is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or threatens violence;
  • Is spam, or is designed to manipulate or abuse the Service;
  • Impersonates another person or entity;
  • Exploits or endangers minors in any way.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, using our judgment, with or without notice.

4. AI-assisted features

Noutez Pro includes an AI assistant that can answer questions about a note, grounded in that note's own content. Responses are generated by a third-party AI model and may be incomplete or inaccurate — they are not a substitute for reading the note itself, and should not be relied on for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

5. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on Noutez infringes your copyright, send a notice to [DMCA/COPYRIGHT CONTACT EMAIL] including: (a) a description of the copyrighted work; (b) the specific Noutez URL where the infringing content appears; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf. We will review valid notices and remove infringing content in accordance with applicable law. Repeat infringers' accounts may be terminated.

6. Noutez Pro (subscriptions)

  • Noutez Pro is a paid subscription purchased and billed through the Google Play Store on Android. We do not process payments directly or store your payment card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time through Google Play — access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • Refunds are handled according to Google Play's own refund policy, not by Noutez directly.
  • We may change what's included in Noutez Pro, or its price, with notice for existing subscribers before the change takes effect.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or for any other reason at our discretion, particularly where necessary to protect other users or the Service.

8. Disclaimers

Noutez is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content posted by other users is accurate. You use Noutez at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Noutez and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Noutez is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Governing law
