Overthinking Isn't Always About the Problem
Sometimes you’re not actually looking for an answer. You’re looking for certainty. And because certainty doesn’t exist, your brain keeps replaying the same conversation, decision, or possibility from 10 different angles. Overthinking can feel productive because you’re doing something. But sometimes the healthiest thing is accepting, “I don’t know yet.”

Overthinking often disguises itself as problem-solving.
You replay the conversation. You imagine every possible outcome. You think about what you should have said, what they might have meant, and what could happen next.
It feels like you're getting closer to an answer.
But sometimes you're just asking your brain to give you certainty about something that cannot be certain.
Not every unanswered question needs an immediate answer. Sometimes peace comes from saying, “I don't know, and I can still be okay.”
